Moving Mountains has been in the world for a whole year and I’m blown away by the support and love it’s been received with.
Launched at Charleston’s Small Wonder Literary Festival a couple days ahead of publication, with Lauren Elkin as host, the anthology has flown far and wide. From Manchester Poetry Library and Sam Reads Bookshop in Grasmere, to Portobello Bookshop in Edinburgh and Bristol’s Festival of Nature. We’ve been supported by bookshops, radio programmes, charities, writing groups, patient organisations and communities, writing and literary communities and salons, and universities, with events across the UK and audiences from around the world. Many of the online events and the radio programme, Scotland Outdoors, were recorded and can be found online on this events page if you’d like to listen back.
It has been wonderful to hear from readers and to see your social media posts as you enjoy the anthology too, do keep sending them and tagging me on instagram/twitter/bluesky!
I am also writing today with exciting news…I’ve recently returned the final edits for a paperback edition of Moving Mountains, due for publication on the 6th March 2025! Moving Mountains in paperback is now available to preorder online and in bookshops (it’s currently reduced on the Footnote Bookshop page).
